Omnisports Reference 6.5mm
Omnisports 6.5 mm is Tarkett Sports’ most popular multi-use gym flooring. It offers class 2 shock absorption according to the ASTM F2772 standard and it can be installed with the 98% adhesive-free GreenLay™ system. Omnisports 6.5 mm is ideal flooring for basketball, volleyball, and many other sports, while at the same time accommodating non-sporting events with ease.
Features
Omnisports 6.5 mm is a heterogeneous vinyl sports floor, meaning that it consists of multiple layers. Each layer or coating has unique function, such as increasing dimensional stability, reducing maintenance, increasing longevity, or providing sports performance and shock absorption. When these layers are combined using Tarkett’s virtually tension-free manufacturing process, the result is the ideal multi-use sports floor. The unique properties of Omnisports 8.3 mm allow it to be installed with the popular GreenLay™ system. GreenLay™ is 98% adhesive-free installation method that offers faster installation, higher moisture tolerances (92% RH per ASTM F2170), and easier recycling.
1 – Performance Protection: On the surface of each Omnisports floor is a photoreticulated polyurethane treatment with durable micro-particles that provides: easy maintenance with no stripping, protection against scratches, sole marks, rubber stains, and optimal surface friction for safety.
2 – Wear Resistance: Omnisports contains a pigmented wear layer made from pure PVC.
3 – Dimensional Stability: A compact PVC layer with imbedded non-woven fiberglass gives Omnisports superior dimensional stability.
4 – Structural Reinforcement: Combined with the PVC layer above, this vinyl layer forms the unique Strain-Splitting Core that is responsible for the Omnisports’ excellent indentation recovery and dimensional stability.
5 – Shock Absorbing Acoustic Foam: This foam layer has an extremely dense cellular structure, providing unrivaled acoustic performance, ideal shock absorption, and natural ball bounce levels.
6 – Perfect Adhesion: The backing of Omnisports is an engineered honeycomb texture for perfect adhesion to the subfloor.
